About centre

The Computer Center  was established with the help of benevolent donation of Shri Rasiklal Jamnadas Shah family towards the construction of building. The separate and exclusive building of the Computer Center is constructed near the Chemistry Department and next to Management Department having spacious built up area of 725 sq. mtrs at the ground floor. The first floor having online laboratories has been constructed with the help of donation from the late Sankalchand Patel family of the visnagar. The building envisages two laboratory for administrative work.

This Computer center was constructed in 1996. The UGC had sanctioned level -1  computer center in 1996 ( letter no f.l.-28/96(comp.), date: 27/12/1996) having grant of Rs. 20 lacks for computer hardware’s and 1 lacks per year for software’s and books up to five years as well as five technical posts.

In 2001, First Floor of this Computer Centre had been constructed with the help of the benevolent donor Shri Bholabhai Patel. Computer Centre having 05 Computer Laboratory with the Total built up Carpet Area is 2000 Sq. mtrs. Since August, 2010 Computer center shifted to its new building near Sports Complex. All functions of the computer center are running at new computer center which is now known as Result Center.

This new Computer (Result) center was constructed in 2009-10 from university fund around Rs. 75 lacs. This two floors building has full facility for central assessment and result preparation work. Center has full facility like coordinator office, Giant Computer Labs, Pantry, Dining Room, Conference Room, Clerk Office etc. Its Total built up Carpet Area is 2426 Sq. mtrs.
