MASTER OF  LAW

 

(In force from July :  2010)

        To pass the LL.M Semester Examination a candidate must obtain at least 36 percent of the marks in each paper, 50 percent in the aggregate of the papers and dissertation and clinical work. Those of the successful candidates who obtain 70 percent of mare of the total marks will be placed in the First Class with Distinction. Who obtain 60 percent or more of the total marks will be placed in the First Class and those obtaining 50 percent or more in the Second Class.

          If a candidate passes in the dissertation but fails in the aggregate of papers, the marks obtained by him in the dissertation shell be carried over to the subsequent year or years.
