Objective : The first objective of the course is to familiarize students with the innovation in information technology and how it affects business. An understanding of the ground rules of this technology will enable the students to appreciate the practical details of E-commerce. The second objective of this course is to provide an understanding of computers and application of relevant software in management decision making.

[7] Functions. - Average, Count, Max, Min, Stdev, Var. - Sum, Abs, Int, Log, Mod, Rand, Round, Sqrt, Autosum. - FP and PV.- IF.

Unit - 4 Introduction to accounting packages : [1] Starting tally 5.4. [2] Creating a company and Opening an existing company. [3] Company features. [4] Group creation and Multiple group. [5] Single Ledgers and Multiple ledgers. [6] Voucher entry purchase entry, sales entry, receipt entry, payment entry, journal entry. [7] Financial statement. Basic Textbook : 1. Objective : To provide elementary exposure to a popular computer language and concept of programming.
